Hmm. I'm not a liberal or member of the ACLU or EFF, but this was... slightly alarming.

The issue I have with restrictions on free speech is that there's always somebody who decides what's okay and what's not. And if we can't criticize Bush today, who's to say we can't criticize Hillary Clinton tomorrow?

That's...kinda scary. National paranoia's apparently at a high now...sheesh.

Although it also makes the rebel in me want to go out and yell anti-Bush slogans just to see what happens.

It is scary... especially for people like me who aren't exactly patriotic as it's currently being defined. I mean, I like my country, and I'm for defending it and all, but my loyalties are definitely Elsewhere. :-) Child of a different kingdom...

Heh, I understand that... people are such fascinating creatures.

I know what you mean. I'm patriotic and all, but sometimes this country is just too much. I don't want us to get bombed or anything, though. But still, freedom of speech? That's in the Amendment I!

As for people being fascinating...here here! *grins* Of course, that's what makes life interesting.
